The Multifamily Energy Savings Program (MESP) helps multifamily property managers and owners upgrade to more energy-efficient equipment, which reduces operating and maintenance costs and improves resident comfort.

Why Energy Efficiency?
On average, 10-20% of energy is wasted due to factors like drafts, air leaks around openings and outdated heating and cooling systems. When energy use is optimized, property owners can reduce energy waste and cut their energy costs. In addition, the public benefits from reduced energy grid stress, improving power reliability and reducing the need for future power plants — ultimately, providing everyone with a cleaner community.

To be eligible, you must:
- Be an existing PG&E multifamily gas or electric customer on a qualifying rate schedule.
